Rotate PDF
Rotate individual pages, or the whole document, with a live preview. Runs entirely in your browser.

How it works
Use the buttons under a page to rotate just that page, or the buttons above the grid to rotate everything at once — the preview updates immediately. The page content itself isn't redrawn, only its display orientation, so quality is unaffected.
Common uses
- Fixing pages that were scanned sideways or upside down
- Correcting orientation before printing or sharing
A worked example
A 12-page document was scanned with pages 3 and 4 fed in sideways. Click the rotate-right button under thumbnails 3 and 4 until the previews stand upright (each click is a quarter turn clockwise; use the rotate-left button for anticlockwise), leave the other ten alone, and choose Save Rotated PDF. The result is a 12-page file named rotated.pdf with only those two pages changed.
How it behaves
- Rotation is added on top of what a page already has, in steps of 90 degrees, and the PDF remembers it as a page setting rather than redrawing the page.
- Because nothing is re-rendered, text stays selectable and searchable and image quality does not change.
- The buttons above the grid turn every page at once, and the buttons under a thumbnail turn just that page.
- Files up to 100 MB are accepted. Password-protected or damaged PDFs can't be opened; remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool.
- The saved file is always named rotated.pdf, so rename it if you are processing several documents.
Frequently asked questions
Does this rotate every page the same way?
Only if you want it to. Use the buttons above the thumbnails to turn the whole document, or the buttons under a single page to rotate just that page. Each page can have its own rotation.
Will this reduce PDF quality?
No — only each page's display orientation changes; the underlying content isn't redrawn or recompressed.
Will the text still be searchable after rotating?
Yes. Only the page's orientation setting changes, so text, links and images are kept exactly as they were, and text stays selectable and searchable.
Which way does the right rotate button turn a page?
Clockwise, by 90 degrees each click. The left button turns it anticlockwise. The thumbnail preview shows the result before you save.
