Yes, every calculator is completely free with no account, subscription, or download required.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts, logins, or user profiles on WebToolGrid — every tool works immediately on the page.

Is my data safe when I use a calculator?

Yes. All calculations run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to our servers or stored anywhere.

Why do I see advertisements on the site?

How accurate are the calculators?

Each calculator uses a standard, publicly documented formula and is tested against known worked examples. That said, real-world results (loan fees, actual fund performance, institutional rounding rules) can vary — see our Disclaimer for the full picture.

I think a calculation is wrong — what should I do?

Please let us know through the Contact page with the numbers you entered and the result you expected. We take accuracy reports seriously and will investigate.

Does WebToolGrid work on mobile devices?

Yes, every page is designed to work on phones, tablets, and desktops without needing a separate app.

Are my files uploaded when I use the PDF, image or audio tools?

No. The file tools open and convert your file inside your own browser, so it never travels to our servers. The one exception to know about is Speech to Text, which relies on your browser's own speech recognition service, and that service typically sends the audio to the browser vendor.

Is there a limit on file size?

Yes, because the whole file is held in your device's memory while it is processed. The limits are 20 MB for text files, 50 MB for images and audio, 100 MB for PDFs and archives, 200 MB for video and 10 MB for fonts. Very large files can still be slow on an older phone, so a smaller file is faster.

Why do the currency rates differ from my bank?

The rates in the Currency Converter are baked in whenever the site is rebuilt, not fetched live for each visit, so they can drift from the market rate between updates. A bank or card issuer also adds its own margin and fees. Use the converter for a quick estimate and confirm the exact rate with your provider.

How can I turn off personalised ads?

Open Google's Ads Settings and switch off ad personalisation, or use the opt-out links in our Privacy Policy. Ads will still appear, but they will not be based on your browsing history. Calculators and tools work the same either way.

Is there an Android app?

Yes. The WebToolGrid Android app gives you the same calculators and tools. Instead of Google AdSense, which runs on the website, the app shows banner ads through Google AdMob, and the Privacy Policy explains what data that involves.

Why does a result show fewer decimals than I expected?

Each tool rounds the answer it displays. Money and measurement results usually show two decimals, the Pythagorean Theorem Calculator shows four, and the Angle Converter shows up to six. If you need a different precision, round the shown figure yourself.
