How it works
Each page of your PDF is rendered onto a canvas at 2x resolution and exported as a PNG image — the same technique PDF viewers use to display pages, just capturing the result as an image instead of showing it on screen. Nothing is uploaded: the whole conversion runs in your browser's memory.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is read and rendered entirely in your browser using JavaScript — it's never sent anywhere.
What resolution are the output images?
Pages are rendered at 2x scale for a sharper result than the PDF's default screen resolution, which works well for most uses including printing at a reasonable size.
Can it handle password-protected PDFs?
No — password-protected or encrypted PDFs can't currently be read by this tool. Remove the password first using your PDF viewer, then try again.
