How it works
Each sheet in the workbook becomes its own page in the PDF, drawn as a grid table in landscape orientation to fit wider spreadsheets. Cell formatting like colors, fonts, or conditional formatting isn't preserved — only the cell values themselves.
What the result looks like
Each sheet is drawn on A4 landscape pages as a grid in which every column gets the same width, 18 points of height per row, and a title above it with the sheet name. A sheet with 6 columns and 40 rows gives columns about 130 points wide and 28 rows per page, so it runs onto a second page. Rows that don't fit continue on additional pages, and blank rows are skipped.
Values come across, formatting does not
- Formulas show the last value saved in the file, so open and save the workbook in Excel first if it has not been recalculated.
- Number formats are dropped. A cell showing $1,234.50 appears as 1234.5, and a percentage appears as a decimal.
- Dates appear as the spreadsheet's underlying serial numbers, for example 46037, not as calendar dates.
- Hidden sheets are included, and text longer than 40 characters in a cell is cut off.
- The built-in PDF font only covers Latin letters, so Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi and other non-Latin text will not display correctly.
- Columns are squeezed to fit one page width, so a sheet with more than about 15 columns becomes hard to read.
When another route is better
This tool suits a quick plain-values snapshot of a small, simple sheet. For a report that must keep formatting, print areas, charts, or non-Latin text, use the Save as PDF option inside Excel or LibreOffice.

Every column is the same width, and text longer than 40 characters is truncated. Long text can also wrap onto the row below. Shorten the content or use Excel's own PDF export.
